Our Team

The AIRC operates under a Students as Partners model. In addition to creating resources and training to support our campus community, student staff work as consultants, working directly with administrative and academic units to implement AI tools safely.

Adam Kantor

Adam Kantor serves as AI Team Lead at the Artificial Intelligence Resource Centre (AIRC) in Western Technology Services. He is focused on generative AI, AI literacy, guidance, and integration to support responsible technology adoption in higher education. Adam contributes to campus-wide AI literacy initiatives, leading programming through the Operational Excellence portfolio in HR. Adam holds a Master of Professional Education from Western University and is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on AI.

Ogechukwu Egonu

Ogechukwu Egonu serves as Senior Business Analyst at the Artificial Intelligence Resource Centre (AIRC) in Western Technology Services. She is focused on business analysis, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and metric tracking to support the effective adoption and integration of AI initiatives in higher education. Ogechukwu contributes to the advancement of AIRC’s work by helping align strategic priorities with operational needs and measurable outcomes.

Hamza Al-Sharafi

Hamza serves as a Student AI Support Coordinator at the Artificial Intelligence Resource Centre (AIRC) in Western Technology Services. Passionate about the practical and responsible use of artificial intelligence, he is interested in how AI can be designed and implemented to support learning, communication, and everyday workflows. Through his role, Hamza supports AIRC initiatives focused on AI literacy and emerging technologies across the Western community. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Western University. He is particularly interested in artificial intelligence, automation, and how emerging technologies can improve accessibility, productivity, and everyday problem solving.

Sanjitha Nagulapalli

Sanjitha serves as a Student AI Support Coordinator at the Artificial Intelligence Resource Centre (AIRC) in Western Technology Services. Passionate about the ethical use of artificial intelligence, she is interested in how AI can be responsibly designed and implemented to assist human work. Sanjitha is currently an undergraduate student at Western University pursuing an Honours Specialization in Biology. She plans to pursue postgraduate studies in data analytics, as she is interested in the intersection of science and technology and how data analytics can be applied to support research.

Sarah serves as a Student AI Support Coordinator at the Artificial Intelligence Resource Centre (AIRC) within Western Technology Services. Passionate about the intersection of business and technology, she is interested in how artificial intelligence can be used to solve real-world problems and create meaningful impact. Through her role, Sarah supports initiatives that promote AI literacy with emerging technologies across the Western community. She is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Western University and is interested in entrepreneurship, event coordination, and technology-driven innovation. Sarah is excited by the potential of AI to support impactful projects and help build solutions for a better future.

He is currently studying Computer Science at Western University and is interested in artificial intelligence, software development, automation, and how technology can be used to improve everyday systems and workflows. He is passionate about building tools that are useful, accessible, and responsibly designed. Through his role at AIRC, Zakaria supports the safe and responsible adoption of AI across the Western community by helping create resources, assisting with AI-related projects, and contributing to solutions that make emerging technologies easier to understand and apply.
